The Marshall Scholarship promotes mutual understanding between the British and American people. Every year, 50 new scholars are invited to pursue 2-3 years of fully funded graduate studies in the UK in any field of their choice while developing strong academic and professional relations. During their time in the UK, the scholars also experience deep cultural immersion and create personal connections with their host communities. Marshall Scholars strengthen the special relationship between the British and American people, their governments, and their institutions.
